EACH DAY IS AN ADVENTURE, AND EACH IS ONLY A SEASON OF OUR LIFE.....

As each week goes by so incredibly fast, I hope to blog more often, to keep connected with friends and family. I want to encourage, build up, and love others by showing them the blessings and struggles we experience.

Pumpkin Patch

This month we went to this place called Tweite's Pumpkin Patch. It was really quite a cool place. It was really made for kids Parker's age and older, and not so much for kids older than 5th grade. They had tons of things for kids to do, like slides and swings and walls to climb. They had a hay ride to the pumpkin patch, so we all piled on and rode to to see the pumpkins. Parker was a little stressed when the tractor turned around to get another crowd, he thought it was leaving us there....but he figured out soon enough it would come back and get us and he could ride on the hay ride again. This trip, Addison wasn't too impressed. It was chilly, so we tried to keep her bundled up, plus she was too little for all the activities. Parker had tons of fun, and we definitely tired him out!

Parker is clearly 3 feet tall this fall! Parker picked this winter coat, when given a choice between colors, he frequently chooses red or purple.

This was made to be a dinosaur fossil the kids could climb on, pretty cool idea. Parker did great with daddy's help jumping from one tire to the next. Next to the fossil you could dig for bones in a sand box...which was good until all the toddler's started wanting each other's shovels as you could imagine.

It was in the 40's when we went, Addison refused to keep her hands in, I could get her mittens on for a while, but then she would take them off trying to hold her hands. She has to have those hands!

Daddy and Addison watching the stick horse races! Go Parker Go!

Parker raced Mommy in the stick horse race. It was a large meadow area, with trees, so you could pick your horse and have a race! Fun, Parker won of course!

And the star of the of the pumpkin patch! It was too cold to get Addy out and make her sit on a pumpkin, maybe next time.
